The Capstone topic for November was Success Outside the Classroom, Extracurricular Activities. The seminar highlighted the emphasis those in high school place on extracurricular activities. The participants were asked to consider the value they place on sports, events and other programs outside of the time they dedicate to formal education. During the exercise following the seminar, the participants were asked to work together on a team project. First hand, they discovered the importance of working together to complete a common goal. The next Capstone session will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
