Club Forge
For fathers & sons in 3rd-6th grade in the Pittsburgh area
Club Forge aims to reinforce the parents’ efforts to cultivate virtue and a spirit of service in their sons.
The club fosters the father’s active involvement in his son’s development, forming a bond that will last a lifetime. Each session includes formative talks for the fathers and sons individually and fun activities for them to enjoy together. Fathers will also have a chance to share experiences with each other about raising children well.
What are the goals for the boys?
- To begin thinking about what kind of men they will be when they grow up.
- To learn about some fundamental virtues and how to live them.
- To engage in fun, manly activities where they can develop their character.
- To form good friendships with the others.
What are the goals for the fathers?
- To spend quality time with their sons in a fun atmosphere.
- To better understand and teach the virtues, helping their sons to grow.
- To have open conversations that are important to their sons formation.
- Fathers are expected to attend sessions with their sons.
